Wish List-Worthy Kitchenware: April 2018

Wish List-Worthy Kitchenware: April 2018

I have a confession to make: I love shopping for cooking tools. And while perusing my favourite online shops I came across some stylish kitchenware upgrades which I will be adding to my kitchen cupboards in the next few months. So without further ado here’s my droolworthy wish list:

cooking tools wish list

1. Le Creuset “Salt Pig”

I love having stylish plates and bowls on display and this beautiful salt crock would not only look good on my kitchen counter, it also provides easy access to salt while cooking. It’s a must have item!

2. Hario “V60 Buono Pouring Kettle 1.2L”

This kettle would go perfectly with item no. 7 on my wish list. It’s essential for any home coffee brewer and the kettle’s goose neck allows great control over flow rate which would make pouring boiling hot water over coffee so much easier.

3. Joseph Joseph “Adjustable Rolling Pin”

Now this is the cleverest rolling pin I’ve ever seen. Figuring out the required pastry thickness can be quite tough but this item will ensure that the dough can be rolled out evenly throughout.

4. Vera Wang for Wedgwood “Love Knots Cake Knife and Server Set”

How cute are the bow details on this cake knife and server? Although I have a set that does the job, I couldn’t resist ordering these pretty utensils.

5. Cuisinart “Elite Mini Food Processor”

While I do own a KitchenAid stand mixer with some attachments, I’d prefer a smaller but still good looking kitchen appliance for chopping, grinding, mixing and blending. I can imagine that this kitchenware tool would be used a lot here.

6. Mauviel “M’héritage Copper and Stainless Steel Splayed Sauté Pan 20cm”

Am I the only person lusting after a sleek pan used by professional chefs? I know, it’s crazy expensive but it’s handcrafted in France and the copper exterior allows even heat distribution. Daily cooking would be so much fun and chic! Ahhh, a girl can dream.

7. Hario “Olive Wood Drip Pot 240ml”

Coffee, coffee, coffee… that’s the first thing I prepare each morning and while I enjoy using my Nespresso machine (it’s fast!) I think that occasionally indulging in a cup of coffee that is rich and full of flavour would certainly improve my morning ritual.

8. Vera Wang for Wedgwood “Venato Imperial China Espresso Cup and Saucer Set”

How gorgeous is Vera Wang’s tableware collection for Wedgewood? I love the marble details of this espresso cup and saucer. I guess that professionally brewed coffee in a Hario Drip Pot would taste fantastic in these stunning cups. Don’t you agree?

Do you love to get new kitchenware as well? Is there anything I am missing on my wish list? Let me know in the comments if you have any suggestions. You should know by now that I love splurging on cooking tools.

Haha, I guess I have to much time on my hands browsing several online shops. Which, of course, you know is not true.
It’s just things I see or have been on my wish list forever. <3
      Happy weekend!
