Last Month’s Skincare and Beauty Buys
Last Month’s Skincare and Beauty Buys
I have a lot of skincare and beauty products but every now and then I’d like to add something new to try to my bathroom shelves. Please tell me I’m not the only one! So without further ado, here’s what I purchased in February:
Estée Lauder Double Wear Concealer
Estée Lauder Double Wear Concealer
This is the beauty product I was most excited about to try. Although I love applying Estée Lauder’s Double Wear Foundation and am a fan of the Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder make-up collection, I don’t know why I never bought the matching concealer. I’ve been using it now for the last couple of days and so far I can say that I really like it. It’s a great alternative to Tarte’s Shape Tape, which is quite difficult to get in Europe. The best part, however, is that it perfectly covers dark circles and stays in place all day long which makes this concealer great for long working days.

I came across this amazing perfume in London last year and it has been on my wish list ever since. Finally, I pulled the trigger and ordered it. It smells fantastic and is perfect for the colder weather. It’s a very spicy and sensual mix of black pepper, caraway, juniper, leather, hyacinth, patchouli, incense and amber. I wish you could smell it.

As it got very cold recently I was looking for a comforting and soothing moisturizer. This skincare product absolutely fulfills these needs. It hydrates my sensitive skin without making it feel all greasy. Moreover, the cream fixes dry patches, which we all have in winter, and calms redness. I’m curious to see how my skin reacts to this cream in warmer weather and if I am going to add it to my skincare regulars.

To be honest, I’d rather not have bought this product as it is supposed to deal with serious hair and scalp issues, which I’ve recently developed. I’ve been battling major hair loss since January and I’m not talking about a few strands of hair. It’s definitely too early to say whether this product is doing anything for me but I’ll definitely report back in a few weeks. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that this serum is the answer to my problem.

Great products from what your saying. I might just have to try the moisturiser as I Still have Not found one that I truely like.
Thank you for the Tips.
The moisturizer really is fantastic for cold weather. I’ll keep you posted if I still like it in a few weeks.
